Can I archive into Archive Server for MDaemon email messages stored into MS Outlook or Outlook Express clients before the Archive Server for MDaemon installation?

Yes, you can use the ASM Mail Uploader tool, an utility which should be created and sent to users by the ASM administrator:

1. Log into the ASM administration as ASM administrator.
2. Enable imports from Configuration > System > General tab
3. Enable imports from General tab of a single domain management window.
4. Choose the accounts the uploader will be sent to from Import tab.
5. Send the uploader.

Note:

• The tool is an .exe file sent as an attachment of an email. Take care that your MDaemon doesn't drop this attachment type (default setting).
• The uploader tool is customized for each account it was sent so a unique setup must not be used by other users.
  

Users must install the uploader tool on the machine where there are messages to be imported, launch the application and follow the wizard which guides through the import procedure.
